Well... Potty training has begun! Kate and I were at Target on Saturday afternoon when she spotted some "Jessie" underwear!! (from toy story 3) I was a little leary to get them (she gets very obsessed with things.. ie. her woody shirt and jessie nightgown) but thought well... this might be the incentive she needs to want to stay dry and wear big girl undies... So I bought them for her... She's been wearing them since!! I had to wash them by hand 2x yesterday so she could wear them after her nap and this am (wish there were more jessie undies in the pack, theres only 3 and the rest nemo etc.) We've put her in diapers for nap time and bed time but that's it. She's going pee pee on the potty alot, with the help of me putting her on it... And "Elmo's potty time" movie which inspired her to go on her own while I was putting away dishes! :0) We were unsure of how to start the potty training process, but this was the kick we needed!! :0) I am hoping to continue to improve her ability to go on her own, or without me asking her to go. We had a few accidents yesterday and one today. She woke up dry from her nap yesterday and dry this morning!! During her "nap" today she just played in her "crib" ( took the side bar off today, she was not happy, she said when i laid her down "fix crib" lol) but did not go in her diaper during the 1.5 hours she was in bed... Wish us luck these next few days/weeks as we continue this process! I am so proud of my baby! :0)
